Detour To Destiny-Episode 2, Part 4

The traditional ceremony began with Paulette reciting the vows that she had written for Riley. He gazed at her with such an incredible amount of adoration on his face that it was hard to believe he had waited this long to make her his wife.



Then Riley began his vows to his bride. Paige had to choke back the emotions that were rising within her as he talked about how much love he had in his heart for her Mother. Paige knew that she would be lucky to find a man that loved her even half as much. It was a genuine struggle to keep the tears from flowing down her face.






He held up the simple gold band that was meant for Paulette's slender finger. It symbolized the unbreakable bond that the two lovers would share.







Paulette held up Riley's band and whispered "Till death do us part".




Paige felt a single tear escape her eye and make a silent trail down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away, hoped that no one had seen, and pasted the smile back on her lovely face.






The vows and rings were exchanged and the couple held hands for a moment, silently communicating their love for one another.



With a kiss it was over. Where there had been two seperate Sims, Riley and Paulette, now stood Mr. and Mrs. Riley Jacobsen.
